What is frustration? It is the fact that we do not accept that we are not free to be and that we are determined. What we are today is fully determined by the previous events and actions. Could we ever escape the consequences of our earlier being and actions, to become free to be as we want at any time? All would then go down to our first initial endowments and initial conditions, which are some of the major determinants of what we are today… Your position in the race would heavily depend on your starting point, but is however not fully determined by it. There is always a space for one’s free will… What you are at any point in time could be a new starting position where you undertake actions that would yield a difference in your future position… we are never free to be, however, always free to become.

Is Power our longing for expansion, to go beyond ourselves... or is it more our deep seeded insecurity that pushes us to maintain under control other factors in our lives? To exapand has nothing of unhealthy per se... The will to expand, in the healthy way, pushes us to develop in order to be willingly accepted by others, loved by others... and hence to have power over them, by the fact that you seduced their hearts and served their interests. This is the healthy power, which is rather distributed by the amount of effort spent and development achieved...
